Admittance to the Wells Scholars Program is awarded on the basis of merit and pays the full cost of attendance for four years of undergraduate study at Indiana University Bloomington. Wells Scholars may choose to spend one of those years studying abroad. The Wells Scholars Program provides special educational opportunities that, in close interaction with our distinguished faculty, foster academic excellence, growth in leadership, and engagement in the larger world. We also provide a grant to each of our Scholars to pursue a summer internship, a research project, a creative activity, or a service experience. The scholarship is by nomination only. ROBERTSON SCHOLARS LEADERSHIP SCHOLARSHIP - DUKE UNIVERSITY and unc Chapel Hill (9/16/20)
Among the most highly sought-after merit scholarships in the country, the Robertson is the only program that combines the extraordinary resources of two world class universities - Duke University and UNC-Chapel Hill. This comprehensive program includes 4-years of tuition, room and board and mandatory fees, 3 fully-funded summer experiences, funding for conferences and seminars and unique access to the academic and extracurricular offerings on both campuses as well as four years of dedicated leadership development programming. The Gates Scholarship is a highly selective, full scholarship for exceptional, Pell-eligible, minority, high school seniors.
DESCRIPTIONThe Gates Scholarship (TGS) is a highly selective, last-dollar scholarship for outstanding, minority, high school seniors from low-income households. Each year, the scholarship is awarded to 300 of these student leaders, with the intent of helping them realize their maximum potential.

Valued at approximately $155,000 for non-residents, UNC Charlotte offers the Levine Scholars Scholarship to 20 students annually, providing them with the tools, resources, and community they need to prepare for lives of visionary leadership and positive social impact. Included is four years of full tuition, room, board, books, mandatory fees, an $8000 service grant, and four summer experiences. Modeled after the example of philanthropists Leon and Sandra Levine, the Levine Scholars Program was established in 2010. While there is no typical Levine Scholar, a passion to make a difference is a unifying characteristic. UNC seeks students who are smart, motivated, community-focused leaders who will utilize every available resource and opportunity to reach their full potential and enrich every community they touch. Civic engagement is at the core of the program and includes ongoing volunteerism, internships with non-profits, grant projects with community partners, and customized curricula. lowell bryan scholarship - davidson college

This scholarship is by nomination. Manual may nominate up to three students to be considered for this award. The Lowell Bryan Scholarships are offered to two scholar-athletes (one woman and one man) in each entering class and valued at $35,000 annually or $140,000 over four years. Bryan Scholars are chosen on the basis of academic and personal excellence and potential for impact in their sport in Davidson’s NCAA Division I athletic program.

The YMCA Youth Character Awards are an opportunity to recognize teens ages 13-17 in our community who demonstrate exceptional leadership, stand as examples to those around them and incorporate the Y core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility into their lives. Honorees will be selected by a committee of volunteers and will be recognized on November 1st at the YMCA Youth Character Awards Celebration. Each honoree will receive a total of $1,500 in scholarships to assist them in their academic and leadership pursuits. The nomination period closes on Friday, September 20, 2019.
