Roy H. Park Scholars Scholarship - Ithaca College (Jan 2 or Jan 15)

The Park Scholar Program is a dynamic learning community that develops future communications leaders who engage critically, act globally, and perform ethically. Each year, Ithaca College offers Park Scholar Scholarship Awards to students who are passionate about the field of communications, community service and who thrive on academic and personal challenge.
The Park Scholar Program offers much more than a full scholarship; it creates a dynamic learning community that develops future communications leaders who engage critically, act globally, and perform ethically. Through a mixture of academic and service programming, Scholars are challenged to take action and give back to their communities, and to use the power of mass communication to make a positive impact on the world.
Thanks to the generosity of the Park Foundation, Ithaca College's School of Communications has welcomed outstanding high school seniors as Park Scholars since 1997. Grants from the Park Foundation also provide funding for the Park Center for Independent Media, a distinguished visitor series, and capital equipment for the Park School.
A limited number of four year merit-based scholarships are awarded to outstanding high school seniors each year.
To be considered for the four year Park Scholar award, you must be a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen (federal guidelines), and apply to Ithaca College for an undergraduate major within the Roy H. Park School of Communications. Transfer students are not eligible for the award.

RON BROWN SCHOLARS PROGRAM SCHOLARSHIP

The Ron Brown Scholar Program also provides Scholars with the financial resources to attend some of the finest colleges and universities in the country. Upon acceptance, Scholars are each awarded $40,000 ($10,000 per year for 4 years toward educational expenses), that may be used at the college or university of their choice. Acceptance into the Program means Scholars are also provided with the nurturing and mentorship to succeed and flourish in college and beyond. The Ron Brown Scholar Program has a proven track record of academic success with a 99 percent graduation rate. Graduating Scholars go on to outstanding careers in technology, arts, sciences and public service, and many more pursue professional degrees in law, medicine and business. Interested applicants are strongly encouraged to apply for the Ron Brown Scholar Program provided you meet the following requirements: Must be Black/African American; Must excel academically; Must exhibit exceptional leadership potential; Must participate in community service activities; Demonstrate financial need; Be a US citizen or hold a permanent resident visa card; Be a current high school senior at the time of your application.

Eta Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Scholarship
The Eta Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated in conjunction with the Finer Pearls Foundation, Incorporated, the charitable arm of the Eta Zeta Chapter is now accepting scholarship applications for the 2019-2020 academic year! The mission of the Finer Pearls Foundation is to Shape Our Communities through Scholarship and Service to Others. We aim to award scholarships to eligible students in the pursuit of higher education. It is our honor and privilege to offer scholarships to well deserving female high school students, who are planning to attend a four-year college or university during the 2020 Fall semester, where at a minimum a baccalaureate degree can be acquired. USDA 2020 1890 National Scholars Program Opportunity (Due Date: January 31, 2020)
Please find the following USDA 1890 Scholarship Application Announcement from the United States Department of Agriculture Office of 1890 Programs. This is an opportunity for a full scholarship to attend a 1890 Land Grant University and Study Agriculture or a related field of Science and Technology. With an opportunity for employment
and career opportunities with an agency of USDA. Please see the information below and follow accordingly. The Application Deadline is January 31, 2020.
The USDA/1890 National Scholars Program was established in 1992 as part of the partnership between the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the 1890 Land-Grant Universities. The USDA/1890 National Scholars Program is implemented under the USDA Fellows Experience Program (FEP). Scholars accepted into the program will be appointed using the Schedule A(r) authority (5 CFR 213.3202) and may be eligible for noncompetitive conversion to full time employment upon graduation. Successful applicants will receive a temporary appointment to the USDA, not to exceed 4 years. Upon successful completion of the degree requirements and the end of the agreement period, the scholar may be eligible for conversion to permanent appointment in service to USDA without further competition, using the Conversion to Career Conditional Appointment Farm Bill 2018 (5 CFR 213.3102) authority code "ZLM".
All USDA/1890 National Scholars are required to compete for appropriate employment immediately after graduation and, if selected, commit to at least one year of service to USDA for each year of financial assistance provided. (Note: Specific details of this service requirement will be outlined in the service agreement entered into by the selected Scholar, the University at which the Scholar is matriculated, and the USDA Sponsoring Agency.) TUSKEGEE AIRMEN SCHOLARSHIP FUND (2020)
Tuskegee Airmen, Incorporated™™ is a unique organization dedicated to the preservation of the history of African American Veterans whose service during World War II demonstrated to America that the criteria for responsible citizenship are character and achievement rather than ethnic origin. Although incorporated in Washington, D.C., the organization consists of many chapters and a National Museum at Moton Field, AL. The Tuskegee Airmen Scholarship Foundation is located in Los Angeles, CA.
Each year the Tuskegee Airmen Scholarship Foundation grants scholarship awards to deserving young men and women. Each year the number of available scholarship awards is directly related to income received from investments. Forty (40) awards of one thousand five hundred dollars ($1,500.00) will be available in 2020. The $1,500.00 awards are for one year only.
Eligibility Requirements: Applicants must be students of accredited high schools who have graduated or will graduate in the school year 2019 - 2020.
